Choose a format for your project
| Format | Useful for | What the listing establishes |
|---|---|---|
| SVG | Resizing in design software or a compatible browser without treating the artwork as a fixed-size bitmap. | Openclipart offers an SVG download. The listing does not establish print suitability at every size. |
| PNG | Placing a bitmap in a worksheet, slide, or other layout. | Openclipart offers PNG files in several sizes. The available sizes do not guarantee sharp results at every print scale. |
| Using a print-oriented file in a compatible viewer or print workflow. | Openclipart offers a print PDF; the listing does not specify quality for every printer or output size. |
For a design that may need substantial resizing, SVG is often the practical starting point. For a layout that accepts a bitmap, choose a PNG size appropriate to the intended output. Check the result at its final size before printing.

Keep fruit clipart separate from Apple branding
Apple Inc. logo files are not generic apple-fruit clipart. Apple’s official Mac Logo Guidelines, dated May 2018, discuss Apple’s own logo artwork: they say a grayscale version is available for black-and-white printing and a line-art version is available for media where grayscale is not suited, such as silk-screen printing or newsprint. Apple’s Apple Signature Guidelines for Apple Teachers, dated March 2021, say to use Apple-provided artwork without modifying it. These guidelines concern Apple branding, not licenses for fruit illustrations.
Likewise, a copyright or public-domain label on a logo file does not by itself settle trademark questions. Wikimedia Commons’ Apple Inc. logos category notes that trademark considerations can vary by jurisdiction. For an ordinary worksheet or design, use a fruit illustration rather than a corporate logo unless your project specifically calls for Apple branding and you have checked the applicable rules.
