These are historical 2024 selections, not a ranking of the most popular colors. Color descriptions and product availability come from the brands; they do not establish which color will work best in your room.

How do the other 2024 selections compare?

Check current local availability before planning a project.
PPG and Glidden Limitless
Both PPG and Glidden selected Limitless for 2024; these announcements refer to the same shade name, not two different colors. PPG describes its choice as contemporary honey beige. Glidden identifies Limitless as PPG1091-3 in its official color archive.
Dutch Boy Ironside
Dutch Boy selected Ironside 422-7DB, described by the brand as deep olive with dark undertones. Dutch Boy calls it a one-coat Color of the Year, but that is the brand’s claim, not a guarantee for every surface or project. Its announcement directs shoppers to Menards.

How do I choose between the 2024 paint colors?
Start with the room and the effect you want, rather than treating the selections as a ranked list. Compare hue family, undertone, depth, room lighting, intended interior or exterior use, brand and shade code, coordinating colors, and local availability.
Recommended Free Tools

- Confirm the exact brand, shade name, code, product formula, and local availability with a retailer.
- Get a physical sample or chip and view it in the intended room and light before buying full quantities.
Benjamin Moore advises that screen and printer representations may differ from actual paint, and its materials direct readers to samples or retailers.
