Source Useful for Format and license information What to check
Pixabay Searching a broad collection of food illustrations, including fruit, vegetables, and meals. The collection page shows food clipart illustration results; formats and terms depend on the selected item. Check the chosen image’s terms before reuse.
Openclipart Finding individual downloadable clipart. The checked food item page offers SVG and small, medium, and large PNG choices. Confirm the details and source note on the individual artwork page; one item’s information does not establish the terms for every file.
LibreClipart Looking for vector artwork. The site states that its free vector images are released under CC0 and lists SVG, PDF, and ODG formats. Treat CC0 as the site’s stated policy and verify the selected download and any relevant third-party rights.
Wikimedia Commons Checking detailed file pages and their licensing information. The checked Burrito.svg file is marked CC0. Commons hosts files with different licenses; check each file page rather than assuming all Commons images are CC0.
Clipart.Free Browsing a food-and-drink category. The site describes its library as CC0 or clearly labeled open-license artwork and says SVG and PNG are available. These are the site’s own descriptions. Use the exact image’s license label as the deciding information.

Choose SVG or PNG for your project

Use the format that fits the way you plan to place or edit the artwork. Availability varies by image, so check the download options on its page.

Check the license before reusing an image

“Free” does not automatically mean that every image can be reused in every way. License terms can differ between sites and between individual files. Read the exact image page and note any attribution requirements before using the artwork, particularly in commercial, client, or merchandise projects.

For example, LibreClipart states that its free vector images are released under Creative Commons Zero (CC0). That is the site’s stated policy, not a blanket rule for other repositories. The Wikimedia Commons page for Burrito.svg marks that particular file CC0 1.0; other Commons files may have different terms. Clipart.Free likewise says its pages identify the license for each image, so check the label on the specific asset you plan to use.
