Privacy and performance
ImagesTool says files stay on the user’s device and are not uploaded. Photopea likewise says its editor runs on the device and files never leave it. Adobe Express’s reviewed editor page presents an upload flow and says users agree to Adobe’s terms and privacy policy when uploading. These are service descriptions; the reviewed information did not independently audit any service’s data handling.
ImagesTool reports that its default “lossless” JPG settings reduce file size by 60% to 80%, and that PNGs made from photo cutout materials can be reduced by approximately 30% to 60%. These are ImagesTool’s own figures; the page does not state a year, and the figures are not an independent benchmark. Results may vary by image.

Which tool should I use for PSD files?
Photopea is the clearer candidate for PSD and layered editing because its official page lists PSD support, layers, and masks. Check current format support and file limits before starting.
