Happy Hues is a rainbow medallion quilt pattern by Lori Miller for American Patchwork & Quilting / AllPeopleQuilt. The finished quilt measures 80.5 × 80.5 inches, and its instructions are currently available as a seven-part project with both rotary-cutting and AccuQuilt die-cutting directions. You can make it without AccuQuilt by following the rotary-cutting version.

Happy Hues is a large square quilt with colored sections radiating outward from a central medallion. AllPeopleQuilt lists the project as a 2023–2024 block of the month and says all instructions are available on its official project page. The designer, Lori Miller, announced the series on August 15, 2023, as a seven-month project. The original monthly launch schedule is historical; use the project page for the current downloadable instructions.

How the seven installments fit together
The pattern divides construction into seven sections, moving from the center toward the completed quilt:
- Month 1: Center block.
- Month 2: Warm-color inner borders.
- Month 3: Cool-color inner borders and green blocks.
- Month 4: Blue blocks.
- Month 5: Purple blocks.
- Month 6: Pink blocks.
- Month 7: Final quilt assembly.
AllPeopleQuilt provides pattern downloads and extra construction tips, including guidance for stitch-and-flip construction and aligning points. Follow the instructions for the installment and cutting method you are using.

What fabrics does the pattern call for?
The listed fabrics are Benartex Superior Solids White and Benartex Shadow Blush in the following colors: Cadmium Red, Amethyst, Blush Rose, Pink, Orange, Saffron, Buttercup, Lime, Kelly Green, Marine, Bluette, Caribe, Aruba, Iris, and Violet. Lori Miller also identifies Shadow Blush and Superior Solids as the collections used for the quilt.

Rotary cutting or AccuQuilt: which instructions should you use?
AllPeopleQuilt publishes directions for both methods. Choose based on the cutting equipment you already have and your preference; the project materials do not establish that either approach is faster, cheaper, or more accurate. Use the cutting directions that match your method rather than combining measurements across versions.
- Rotary cutting: A valid option that does not require AccuQuilt dies. Use the rotary-cutting instructions and a rotary cutter with the other supplies specified there.
- AccuQuilt: Use the dies listed for the project and follow its die-cutting directions. Confirm the official cutting plan before buying equipment.
