You can 3D-print a fan-made BMO figure from downloadable model files, but the available designs use different formats, print settings, and licenses. Choose a model first, then follow the settings for that specific file rather than mixing instructions between listings.
Choose a BMO model file
These are user-created models, not verified official Adventure Time merchandise. The listings do not establish authorization from the character’s rights holder.

There is no controlled comparison establishing which design prints best or has the most accurate appearance. Compare the model previews and file details on the listing itself before downloading.
Prepare the file and printer
For a physical print, you need a 3D printer and filament. The Pinshape creator reported using white PLA, but that historical setup is not a required brand or a current product recommendation. Choose a filament compatible with your printer and the model’s intended use.

- Download the model. Get the STL or other offered file from its listing. If the download contains multiple files, inspect the listing’s descriptions and dimensions to identify the intended parts.
- Open it in your slicer. Import the model, orient it on the build plate, and check the preview for overhangs, gaps, or parts outside the printable area.
- Set the profile for that model. For the MakerWorld model, the listed profile specifies 0.16 mm layer height, two walls, and 15% infill. For the Pinshape model, the creator’s 2016 settings are 0.3 mm layers and 20% infill, with no supports. Treat these as starting points from their respective listings, not universal settings.
- Review supports and time. The Pinshape description says its one-piece design does not need supports. The MakerWorld profile estimates 14.1 hours; actual time can vary with printer, slicer, and settings.
- Slice and inspect before printing. Check the slicer preview, material choice, and estimated time before sending the job to your printer.
Understand the licenses before sharing or selling
A model-file license governs the creator’s file; it does not by itself establish permission from the rights holder of the Adventure Time character. The Pinshape listing specifies CC BY-SA, including attribution and share-alike terms. MakerWorld’s search-result information identifies Creative Commons Attribution, but the live listing should be checked for complete terms. Cults3D’s retrieved listing text does not make its license clear, so do not assume reuse is permitted. These listing details are not a legal determination about fan art or commercial use.
