Use an editable Eid al-Fitr greeting-card design as a starting point for an Idul Fitri 2025 template: personalize the greeting, recipient and artwork, then choose a digital or printed format. Indonesia’s government listed Idul Fitri 1446 H on 31 March and 1 April 2025; those dates are historical, not an upcoming holiday.

What the 2025 date means
Indonesia’s published 2025 schedule listed 31 March and 1 April as national holidays for Idul Fitri 1446 Hijriah. It separately listed 2, 3, 4 and 7 April as collective leave dates; those extend the leave schedule, but are not additional national holiday dates. Kemenko PMK’s 2025 schedule and the Cabinet Secretariat’s announcement describe Indonesia’s government calendar. The Cabinet Secretariat notes that religious dates for Ramadan and Idulfitri are set by Minister of Religious Affairs decree. These dates should not be read as a universal calendar for every country or community.

Greeting text to put on the card
For an Indonesian-language card, consider “Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri” or the shorter “Selamat Idul Fitri.” You can pair the greeting with “1446 H” when you want to identify the Hijri year, and add the recipient’s name or a personal note. These are practical wording choices, not a claim that one particular greeting is religiously required.

Longer message for a card
Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri 1446 H. Semoga kebersamaan di hari yang istimewa ini membawa kedamaian dan kebahagiaan bagi Anda sekeluarga.
Personalize these examples to suit your relationship with the recipient. Keep the message brief if it will sit over artwork in a social post or messaging image; use a longer note only if the chosen card has room for readable text.

Choose and personalize an editable template
Canva’s Eid al-Fitr greeting-card templates include customizable designs, including an example titled “Selamat Hari Raya Idul Fitri (Card (Landscape)).” The service describes options to adapt a layout, colors, illustrations, photos and message text. This is a current vendor template collection, not evidence of a distinct or officially approved 2025 design.
- Choose a layout. Decide whether the card will be portrait or landscape, and whether it needs space for a longer note.
- Replace the sample text. Add your preferred greeting, recipient name and optional “1446 H” label.
- Check the finished design. Verify the year and Hijri label, spelling, language, recipient name and orientation before exporting.
- Export for the destination. Canva lists PDF, JPG and PNG downloads for its templates. Select a format that suits how you intend to share or print the card.
