There are two distinct projects called “Jungle Path Baby Quilt.” The AllPeopleQuilt pattern is a yardage-based log-cabin quilt measuring 42½ inches square. The separate Moda tutorial by Jessica Kelly uses a charm pack and jelly roll and finishes at approximately 43 inches square. Check which instructions you have before buying fabric or cutting pieces.

| Finished size | 42½ inches square; finished blocks are 18 inches square. | Approximately 43 inches square. |
| Fabric format | Separate fabric yardages, calculated on 42 inches of usable width. | One charm pack, one jelly roll and white solid yardage. |
| Construction | Sixteen log-cabin units form four blocks, which are joined with sashing and borders. | Sixteen blocks; the tutorial describes the quilt as reversible and uses a strip-pieced backing. |
| Seams and pressing | ¼-inch seam allowance; press toward the darker fabric unless the diagrams direct otherwise. | ¼-inch seams throughout; press seams open. |
The AllPeopleQuilt page names Makower UK’s Jungle Friends collection. The Moda tutorial uses Tim & Beck’s Bungle Jungle precuts. Those are design references in older pattern pages, not confirmation that either collection is currently available.
AllPeopleQuilt pattern: materials and construction
Materials
The pattern’s yardages assume 42 inches of usable fabric width. Gather:
- ⅓ yard peach print for blocks
- 1 yard white print for blocks and sashing
- ½ yard green print
- ½ yard blue print
- ½ yard binding fabric
- 2⅞ yards backing fabric
- One 51-inch-square piece of batting
Construction overview
- Cut the specified strips and rectangles, including five 2½-inch blue squares.
- Piece peach-and-white strip sets and cut sixteen segments.
- Build sixteen log-cabin units, each measuring 8½ inches square at the unfinished stage, by adding peach, green and blue pieces.
- Arrange four units with white rectangles and a blue accent square to make each of the four blocks.
- Join the blocks with white sashing. The resulting quilt center measures 38½ inches square before the white borders are added.
- Add the borders, then layer the quilt top with batting and backing, baste, quilt as desired and bind.
Use a ¼-inch seam allowance. Unless the pattern diagrams say otherwise, press seams toward the darker fabric.

Moda / Jessica Kelly version: materials and construction
Materials
- One Tim & Beck Bungle Jungle charm pack
- One matching jelly roll
- 1½ yards of Bella Solid white
Kelly’s tutorial describes a reversible quilt of approximately 43 inches square, made from sixteen blocks with a strip-pieced backing. Its instructions call for ¼-inch seams throughout and pressing seams open. Follow that tutorial for this version; its precut requirements and pressing directions are not interchangeable with the AllPeopleQuilt pattern. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which pattern should you follow?
- Choose AllPeopleQuilt if you want a yardage-based pattern with log-cabin units and a 42½-inch finished size.
- Choose Jessica Kelly’s Moda version if you want to work from a charm pack and jelly roll and prefer its approximately 43-inch reversible design.
Keep each project’s cutting measurements, backing method and pressing instructions with its own pattern. Similar names and nearly identical finished dimensions do not make the patterns’ pieces or steps interchangeable.
