Macy’s Flower Show 2025 ran from April 27 through May 18 at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City. The free, three-week event marked the show’s 50th year at the flagship and invited visitors into a spring setting Macy’s described as a dreamlike world of surrealist gardens. The event has ended.
When and where was Macy’s Flower Show 2025?
The show took place Sunday, April 27, through Sunday, May 18, 2025, at Macy’s Herald Square in New York City. Macy’s said it was free and open to the public during store hours; its announcement did not list exact daily hours.
What was the theme?
Macy’s framed the anniversary show around spring renewal and surrealist gardens, describing an immersive, dreamlike environment. “A Dreamy Spring Display of Color and Design” is a descriptive headline, not the official theme name supplied by Macy’s.

What could visitors see?
YSL Beauty’s Art of Flowers
A floral expression covered the store’s 34th Street facade, leading into interior scenes inspired by fragrance. Macy’s described lavender and golden orange blossoms associated with LIBRE, fern and geranium elements associated with MYSLF, and a blue setting with sage and blue geranium surrounding Y. The experience ended at a pop-up boutique. The announcement also listed bouquet gifting, bottle personalization and engraving, watercolor art, and limited-edition flower charms.
LEGO Blooms & Beyond
LEGO’s contribution included floral-inspired displays, a mosaic wall, LEGO Botanicals flower carts, and a hands-on Build-a-Bloom activity on select days. For a similar activity at home, a LEGO Botanicals flower building set is related inspiration—not a required item or an official souvenir. Macy’s announcement does not establish whether any event merchandise remains available.

A tulip garden and floral landscapes
Holland America Line contributed a wave-inspired tulip garden, while landscape artists ManscapersNY created floral landscapes. The Bouqs Co. supplied fresh flowers for the event.
Who took part?
Macy’s named YSL Beauty, LEGO, Holland America Line, ManscapersNY, and The Bouqs Co. as contributors, with different roles spanning fragrance-led design, interactive displays, garden design, landscaping, and fresh flowers.

What did Macy’s say about attendance?
In its April 14, 2025 announcement, Macy’s chief marketing officer Sharon Otterman said the company expected more than one million customers. That was a forecast, not a verified final attendance count; the announcement did not provide a measured total.

Macy’s also announced a Flower Show and Surrealist Garden collection across home goods, jewelry, and sleepwear, including collaborations with Kendra Scott, MarieBelle, and Lovery. It listed select-store Flower Show pop-ups for May 10 and a daily Bouquet of Deals during the event dates, with featured products on select dates and gifts tied to qualifying purchases. These were 2025 offerings; the announcement does not confirm that products or promotions are still available.
