A “Made with Love” quilt label can be a personalized sew-on tag, a label you edit and print at home, or a design cut from a fabric panel. Choose based on whether you want a finished label, control over the wording, or several labels to fill in yourself.
Choose the label style that suits your quilt

Ready-made personalized labels
Jammin’ Threads lists a pink thread-spool design reading “Made with Love in Every Stitch.” The seller says the flat sew-on label has a field for a maker name and measures approximately 3 × 1.5 inches. It is offered in cotton or polyester; confirm the current listing for available options and dimensions, since product details can change. See the seller’s label listing.

According to the seller, its cotton labels include temporary HeatnBond Featherlight backing to help hold the label in place while you stitch and to reduce fraying. The backing is for positioning, not a substitute for sewing the label onto the quilt. The seller recommends folding the edges under to reduce fraying.
Polyester: trim and sew
The seller says polyester labels can be trimmed and sewn directly onto the quilt. The listing describes extra fabric that allows you to fold the edges under if you prefer a finished border.

Follow material-specific care guidance
These are the seller’s care statements, not results from an independent wash test. For cotton, it recommends a delicate cold-water wash and hanging to dry or using a low dryer setting; it also says the print is “Not fully colorfast” and advises avoiding high heat. For polyester, the seller says no special care is needed and describes the label as machine washable and fade-proof. If frequent or hot washing matters for your quilt, consider those stated limitations when choosing a material.
Print an editable label at home

- Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat.
- Type your message into the customizable lines.
- Print the label onto printer fabric sheets, following the sheet manufacturer’s instructions.
AllPeopleQuilt also links to separate tips for writing and printing on fabric for readers who do not have Acrobat. The printable route gives you control over the message, but it depends on compatible fabric sheets and a printer that can handle them.
Cut a label from a fabric panel
Riley Blake Designs’ product-sheet PDF shows a quilt-label panel with designs and prompts including “Made with Love,” “Quilt name is:”, “To / From / Date,” and “Made By.” This is a cut-and-sew alternative, not an individually personalized label listing. Decide what to put on the label
A simple label can carry the sentiment and a few useful details. Depending on the format you choose, include your name, the quilt’s name, its recipient, or the date. A personalized label may limit you to its available fields, while a printable template or panel can offer different prompts; check the design before deciding what information to add.
