Rodney Pike’s digital caricature mashups place Mr Bean into well-known portraits and paintings. A 2014 Scroll.in feature by Mayank Jain describes examples based on works by Frank Cadogan Cowper, Agnolo Bronzino, William-Adolphe Bouguereau, Hans Holbein the Younger, Diego Velázquez and Rembrandt. Although Scroll.in’s headline mentions the Mona Lisa, its text does not identify a Mona Lisa mashup among the examples.
What the 2014 feature covers
Mayank Jain’s illustrated feature appeared on Scroll.in on October 9, 2014, under the headline “Mr Bean finds his way into Mona Lisa and other famous works of art.” It presents caricature artist Rodney Pike’s digital mashups, with pictures credited to “Rodney Pike via Paste Magazine.” The subject is Pike’s art—not a Mr Bean television episode or the plot of the 1997 film Bean. Read the Scroll.in feature.

Which famous artworks are named?
The feature’s text identifies these source paintings and portraits as examples of the works into which Mr Bean is placed:
- Frank Cadogan Cowper’s Vanity
- Agnolo Bronzino’s Portrait of a Young Man
- William-Adolphe Bouguereau’s Meditation and Breton Brother and Sister
- Hans Holbein the Younger’s Sir Thomas More and Portrait of Thomas Howard
- Diego Velázquez’s Portrait of Juan de Pareja
- Portraits by Rembrandt
The article’s text does not name the Mona Lisa as one of the pictured examples. The headline alone is not enough to confirm that a Mona Lisa mashup appears in the feature.

Are the mashups available as prints or a book?
The cited feature credits the images but does not establish a physical edition, authorized print shop, art book or purchase route for Pike’s mashups. It is therefore not possible to point to a verified product based on these sources.

Universal Pictures’ page for Bean describes the separate 1997 comedy in which Mr Bean travels to California for the presentation of a world-famous painting. The film concerns Whistler’s Mother; it is not a collection or edition of Pike’s mashups. Universal lists digital, Blu-ray and DVD formats for the film. See Universal Pictures At Home’s film page.
