Neon Dreams is the Canadian music duo of vocalist Frank Kadillac and drummer Adrian Morris, associated with Halifax—not the unrelated artists or forthcoming game that also use the name. Their work draws on several genres, and Kadillac has described the 2024 album The Good, The True And The Beautiful as a personal, spiritual journey shaped for listeners.
Who are Neon Dreams?
Neon Dreams is a Canadian duo made up of Frank Kadillac and Adrian Morris. The act is associated with Halifax. Because the name is also used by unrelated artists and a forthcoming video game, the music discussed here is specifically the Canadian duo. Filter Music Group’s artist profile describes the act and lists an undated figure of more than 50 million streams; that is a promotional figure without a stated measurement date, not a current stream total.

What does Neon Dreams sound like?
The duo’s influences span punk and hardcore, pop-punk, electronic music and hip-hop. In a 2024 interview with The Coast, Morris said, “Finding something to compare it to is very difficult.” That range makes a single narrow genre label a poor description of the group.
What is The Good, The True And The Beautiful about?
In The Coast’s June 2024 article, the album was described as forthcoming, with a release date of June 21. Kadillac said he drew on personal experience and spiritual beliefs, framing the material as a hero’s journey for listeners: “It’s taking my spiritual beliefs and everything I’ve learned on my journey and putting it into a hero’s journey for people to consume and understand.” The article also discusses “The Art of Letting Go” and “Masterpiece.”

Kadillac connected the album title to the search for things that feel meaningful: “When you search for things in this world that feel right to your heart, it’s simple.” In the same interview, he recalled how hearing songs such as Linkin Park’s “In The End” helped him find a voice. Those comments put the record’s spiritual framing alongside a personal account of music’s role in identity.
How did “Life Without Fantasies” find an audience in South Africa?
The Coast reported that the song began gaining traction in South Africa around late 2020 and into 2021. Morris said the duo saw streams rise as young listeners embraced the track and invited the group to perform. A Dream Society profile says the song went platinum in South Africa and that the duo played 16 sold-out shows there in May. The profile does not display a publication date, so those claims should be understood as its account of the group’s career, not as newly verified current figures.
