PocketMod turns one printed sheet into a compact, eight-page paper booklet you can tailor for notes, schedules, recipes, game rules, or other quick-reference material. Its browser-based builder supplies the layout; you choose the page modules, print the sheet, then fold it using PocketMod’s guide. “Disposable” here means easy to replace because it is made from paper—not a claim about environmental impact.
What PocketMod is
PocketMod describes itself as “a simple, straightforward, non fancy way to keep yourself organized,” and says, “We provide the templates, you provide the paper.” In practice, its builder lets you arrange page modules into an eight-page booklet, then print and fold the layout. Make a PocketMod booklet
- Open the builder. Go to PocketMod’s how-to page and follow its direction to sign in or create an account.
- Choose your page modules. Select the kinds of pages you want from the builder’s menus and move through the eight-page preview. Keep the booklet focused: a few useful reference pages are often easier to consult than a collection of unrelated ones.
- Print the layout. The official print guidance recommends letter-size paper, “fit to page,” no margins, and printing backgrounds. The how-to page also mentions a Save option for premium accounts. The sources do not establish current subscription prices or exactly which features are included, so check PocketMod’s live account information if saving is important to your workflow.
What to put in the pages
Choose content that benefits from a small, portable paper reference. PocketMod’s 2018 Kickstarter campaign gave examples such as mini recipe books, workout tracking, healthcare, studying, and gaming. For print-and-play game rules, a small folded booklet may be a handy format, but the finished pages still need to be legible at their printed size. A single informal Reddit post asked whether PocketMod was still available and mentioned game rules as a desired use; it is not evidence of wider demand or a guarantee of current service availability. Is “disposable” the right description?
The booklet is paper-based and can be replaced by printing and folding another sheet when you want different pages or a fresh copy. That makes it a disposable-style organizer in the everyday sense of replaceable, not a verified environmental product. Optional protection and practical trade-offs
PocketMod’s shop describes custom cardstock covers with latex-free bands to protect a finished booklet. This is an optional accessory for someone who expects to carry a booklet regularly; a paper sheet and access to a printer are the task-enabling supplies. A PocketMod is useful when you want a custom, paper-based reference that is easy to replace. It takes more setup than jotting a note in an existing notebook or app: you must select content, print, and fold it. A phone app avoids printing but is digital; a bound pocket notebook is ready to write in but does not offer the same pre-arranged printed pages. Which is preferable depends on whether you value tailored pages, instant capture, replaceable sheets, or a more durable carry format.

What is known about current options
The current print page confirms a paper-size selector and folding options, but does not establish the complete list of paper sizes or corner styles. A 2018 Kickstarter FAQ discussed A4 support and open- and closed-corner booklet options as campaign-era plans; treat those details as historical unless the live interface confirms them.
