This is the AllPeopleQuilt / American Patchwork & Quilting Editors pattern Pumpkin Patch Wall Quilt, updated July 24, 2025. The page says it was inspired by Pick of the Patch by Chelsi Stratton of Chelsi Stratton Designs, credits Diane Tomlinson as quilt tester, and identifies the sample fabric as Country Charm by Holly Taylor for Moda Fabrics. The sample collection is attribution, not a requirement; the materials list is organized by print category.

Fabric requirements and supplies
The quantities below are the pattern’s published requirements. Cutting and yardage assume 42 inches of usable fabric width; the pattern includes ¼-inch seam allowances.

Print selection can vary, provided the pieces are cut and sorted according to the pattern’s A–D categories. If you substitute fabric, check the usable width: the listed yardage and cutting are based on 42 inches.
How the quilt is assembled
- Sort the cut pieces. Group the A–D pieces by their pattern letter before piecing.
- Make the block components. Sew the triangle-squares and leaf-and-stem unit for each pumpkin.
- Build each pumpkin block. Add the side and top units, then use the D-print strips to bring the block to 18½ inches unfinished, which finishes at 18 inches.
- Join the center row. Make three blocks and sew them together in one row.
- Add the borders. Sew on the long and short brown leaf-print border strips as directed by the pattern.
- Quilt and finish. Layer the quilt top with batting and backing, baste, quilt as desired, and bind.
Do not confuse it with similarly named designs
Other projects called “Pumpkin Patch” or “Pumpkin Patch Wall Quilt” are not interchangeable with this pattern. Their dimensions, techniques, and materials differ.

Choose by the project’s dimensions and construction method, not by the shared name. The AllPeopleQuilt version is the long, three-block pieced design.
