To find a Selamat Hari Raya PNG you can place in a design, search for the exact greeting plus “transparent,” then check that the downloaded file is actually a PNG and that its license permits your intended use. A PNG download is not automatically cleared for commercial use.
What “Selamat Hari Raya” means
In Malaysia, Hari Raya Aidilfitri—often shortened to Hari Raya—is Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan. It falls on 1 Syawal in the Hijri calendar. Malaysian celebrations may include prayers, family visits, forgiveness, open houses, traditional clothing and festive foods; these are useful visual references, not requirements for every greeting design. Tourism Malaysia describes the celebration’s social customs, while the National Archives of Malaysia exhibition notes local names such as Hari Raya Puasa and Hari Lebaran and examples including baju kurung, baju Melayu, lemang, ketupat and rendang.

- “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri PNG transparent”
- “Salam Aidilfitri PNG”
- “Maaf Zahir dan Batin greeting PNG”
These phrases reflect wording found in Malaysian and Bruneian greetings, including “Maaf Zahir & Batin.” Malaysia’s Ministry of Health has published Hari Raya greeting media using “Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri” and “Salam Aidilfitri.” The phrases are practical search combinations, not a ranking of search popularity.
How to choose the right image
- Check the greeting text. Confirm whether the design says “Hari Raya,” “Hari Raya Aidilfitri,” or “Salam Aidilfitri,” and review spelling and punctuation before sharing or printing.
- Decide whether you need transparency. A transparent background lets you layer the greeting over another design. A full poster image already includes its background. Search results may use phrases such as “transparent with Clear Background,” but verify the actual file rather than relying on listing text. One TOPpng listing uses that wording.
- Confirm format and dimensions. Check the downloaded file extension and image properties. A cited official Ministry of Health greeting graphic is a JPEG, not a PNG; official downloadable artwork is not necessarily available in the format you need. The TOPpng example is listed at 800 × 480 pixels and 59.6 kB—details of that listing only, not a general quality standard.
- Choose a fitting visual style. Crescent moons, Islamic architecture, ketupat, family scenes and traditional clothing are common visual cues. Select imagery that suits the audience and setting, whether personal, community or corporate.
- Read the asset’s license. Check permissions on the exact download page before using the image, especially for organizational or commercial work.
Can you use a free Hari Raya PNG commercially?
Only if the specific asset’s terms allow it. The cited TOPpng image is labeled “Free for personal use,” which does not grant commercial permission. A PNGTree listing describes commercial-use authorization as subject to a company plan and separately notes font-rights limitations. These examples have different terms; neither establishes the license for other artwork. The word “free” in a title or search result is not enough to establish reuse rights. Check the PNGTree listing’s stated terms and review the license for any image you select.

Official artwork or a transparent PNG?
Choose based on what you need to make. Official greeting graphics can provide a ready-to-share message, but the cited Ministry of Health example is a JPEG infographic rather than a transparent PNG. Third-party PNG listings may offer transparent artwork, yet each file has its own dimensions and permissions. For either source, inspect the downloaded file and confirm its allowed uses before publishing it.
