Store reels by color family, then by weight or purpose if your collection is large. Leave a little visual space between groups so a missing color is obvious; avoid cramming reels onto pegs that were not designed for their diameter.

Measure the closed cabinet, doorways and the clearance needed to open its work areas. The integrated ironing board and cutting mat can reduce the number of separate stations, but the cabinet still needs enough surrounding space to operate safely.
