“That’s My Jam Tea Towel” is a downloadable sewing and embroidery project from American Patchwork & Quilting—not a listing for a finished retail towel. It combines an embroidered strawberry and the word “jam” with a pieced applesauce block, then attaches the block to 18-inch-wide hemmed toweling. The finished towel measures 18 × 26 inches.

What the project includes
The project page describes the towel as a handcrafted hostess gift and credits its inspiration to Red Delicious by designer Charisma Horton. Doris Brunnette made the project. The named fabrics are from the Julia collection by Crystal Manning and the Enamoured toweling collection by Pieces to Treasure, both for Moda Fabrics.
The pieced block finishes at 6 × 19 inches. Its cream fabric square carries the strawberry-and-“jam” embroidery; patchwork pieces complete the applesauce block. The original project page provides the construction directions and diagrams, while its downloadable pattern files supply the project and embroidery pattern pieces.

The fabric cutting directions assume 42 inches of usable fabric width. The project page names the collections used, but does not establish whether those fabrics are currently in stock or identify verified substitutes.
How the embroidery is worked
Trace the strawberry and lettering from the full-size embroidery pattern onto the cream fabric square. The instructions call for two strands of floss for all stitches.

- Use stem stitch for the strawberry outline.
- Use lazy daisy stitches for the leaves.
- Use straight stitches for the strawberry seeds.

A fine-line water-soluble marker is the specified marking option; the page also allows another marking tool. Lightweight fusible interfacing is optional, not a required material.

The block is pieced with quarter-inch seam allowances, then attached to the toweling. Fold the exposed edges and topstitch to finish the towel. Because the pattern includes diagrams and full-size embroidery pieces, use the downloadable project and embroidery files for the complete cutting, piecing, placement, and stitching instructions.
