For this particular project, the editors advise cutting the ruffle strips at 45 degrees to create a raw edge they say does not fray, avoiding a hem. - Closure and pockets: Check whether it has a snap, zipper or no stated closure, and whether pockets are inside or outside.
- Interior and care: Confirm whether the bag is lined and read the listed care instructions. Seller descriptions are not the same as independent material testing.
- Price and availability: Treat displayed prices and stock as time-sensitive; a sold-out listing is not evidence that the item can be bought now.
For example, the Tootsies listing supplies dimensions, a strap drop, closure and interior-pocket details, while the Etsy listing emphasizes a zippered front pocket and seller-stated linen care. Those differences describe the listings; they are not evidence that one bag is better overall.
