You can find downloadable water-splash PNGs described as transparent at StickPNG, PNGimg, and Pixabay. Check the individual image page before downloading: dimensions vary, and “free” does not mean the same usage rights at every source. The Unsplash search page also includes sponsored Unsplash+ content.
Where to find water splash PNGs
These pages offer relevant water-splash images, but the listings and terms apply to individual assets rather than necessarily to every image on a site.
- StickPNG water splash — the cited listing describes its image as having no background and offers it for download.
- PNGimg water splash image #114281 — the cited page identifies a transparent PNG and gives its dimensions and file size. PNGimg also has a water image gallery.
- Pixabay water splash illustration — the cited listing offers a PNG and labels it free under the Pixabay Content License.
- Unsplash water-splash PNG search — the results include sponsored Unsplash+ content, so check whether the particular image is free or premium and review its terms.
Check transparency before downloading
A PNG file is not automatically transparent. Look for an explicit statement on the specific asset page that it has a transparent background or alpha transparency; a thumbnail alone is not proof. PNGimg’s cited image page says it is a transparent PNG with a resolution of 4336 × 4336 pixels. StickPNG’s cited listing says its particular image has no background. Confirm the downloaded file itself in your image editor, since a preview may display transparency differently from a solid background.

For a small web graphic, a smaller file may be easier to manage. For a larger design or print, check that the pixel dimensions suit the final size; enlarging a small image can make edges look soft. Water splashes have irregular edges, so verify transparency and the result against the background where you plan to use the image.
