Quilts & More Winter 2023 is a seasonal issue with projects ranging from quilts and table accents to a reusable gift bag, pillows, stockings, and sewing-themed small makes. The publisher’s feature page numbers 15 entries, but some are color or project options rather than separate full magazine patterns. Four entries link to free online patterns; the rest are presented as issue features.

How to choose a project from the issue
| If you want… | Consider… | Technique or format noted by the publisher |
|---|---|---|
| A larger quilt | Shining Bright, Peppermint Party, Pining for Plaid, or Cheerful Blend | Quilt projects; the feature page does not give complete construction instructions. |
| A wall or table accent | Scrap Lab’s wall quilt; Make a Display: Winter or its 24-inch-square table topper; Merry Meeting; Cheerful Blend’s table runner | Wall quilting or table-sized projects; Make a Display’s alternate topper uses four 10-inch tree blocks. |
| A small gift or useful make | Skill Builder: Gift Bag, the Scrap Lab stockings or pillow, A Stitch in Time pincushion, or the magnet option | Drawstring sewing, small fabric projects, or cross-stitch motifs, depending on the project. |
| A travel-themed project | Scenic Overlook | Foundation paper piecing for a travel pillow inspired by Glacier National Park. |
The feature page does not provide full skill ratings or supply lists. Check the issue instructions for the steps and materials needed before starting, especially for the foundation paper-pieced pillow and cross-stitch projects.
