Free graduation clipart for 2025 is available, but the options are not all equivalent: some designs say “Class of 2025,” while others are evergreen graduation caps or diplomas. Check the file formats, current price and reuse terms on the individual listing before downloading—one 2025-specific craft file’s free promotion ended on May 8, 2025.
Which free graduation clipart actually says “Class of 2025”?
For a graphic with the year built in, Creative Fabrica’s “Class of 2025 with Graduation Cap” listing describes a ZIP containing an SVG, JPEG and transparent-background PNG. The page presents it as a free download and says downloads include a commercial license. Check the listing’s current availability and the platform’s current license terms before using it, especially for a commercial project.
A second year-specific option is DIY Grad Crafts’ “Ultimate Graduation Cap 2025 SVG File”. Its one-week free offer ended May 8, 2025; the listing said the file would then be available for purchase. Do not treat it as a currently free download. The listing describes assembled and color-separated SVGs, DXF, PDF instructions, a PNG preview and separate transparent PNG files.
Free generic graduation caps and diploma graphics
If the year does not need to appear in the image, generic symbols can work on invitations, classroom handouts, party decorations or other designs where you add “Class of 2025” separately.
- FreeSVG.org’s “Diploma with a graduation cap” is described as a 0.03 MB vector, with SVG and 2400 px and 300 px PNG options. The page identifies the graphic as public domain and says the site’s SVGs use CC0/public-domain terms.
- ClipSafari’s “Graduation Cap” page identifies the asset as CC0 and lists SVG and a 7658 × 4877 PNG. The site says it can be used for print, presentations, websites and commercial purposes without attribution; check the current asset page and terms before reuse.
- FreeSVG.org’s “College graduation” is another generic graduation graphic, not a 2025-specific design. Its surfaced listing describes a public-domain SVG/PNG option.
FreeSVG.org describes its CC0/public-domain graphics this way: “You can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.” That is the site’s description of its licensing terms, not independent legal advice; confirm the terms attached to the asset you choose.
Choose a format for your project
| Format | Useful for | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| SVG | Vector editing and craft-cutting workflows represented by the listings. | Confirm your software supports SVG and whether it requires a particular edition. |
| Transparent PNG | Placing a graphic over a colored background, or preparing a raster image for print or stickers. | Check the pixel dimensions and whether they suit your intended output size. |
| JPEG | Ordinary image placement where a transparent background is not needed. | Confirm the design’s background and the resolution provided in the download. |
| DXF | A cutting-file alternative included in the DIY Grad Crafts listing. | Check compatibility with your specific cutting software and workflow. |
The DIY Grad Crafts listing names Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio, Brother Scan N Cut Canvas Workspace, Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape and Affinity Designer as compatible software. It notes that Silhouette Studio requires Designer Edition or higher for SVG; DXF and PNG work in Standard Edition. These are the listing’s compatibility notes, so verify current software support before relying on a format.

Check rights and availability before using the image
“Free” can mean a listing currently offers a no-cost download, not that the file will always be free. The DIY Grad Crafts promotion is one example of a time-limited offer. License terms also differ by asset: the FreeSVG.org and ClipSafari pages state CC0 or public-domain terms, while Creative Fabrica points users to its commercial license terms. Read the current listing and license for your intended use rather than assuming every free graphic permits the same reuse.
