Choose a heart picture by style and use: a decorative heart symbol is not the same as an anatomical heart illustration. The examples below include a red illustrated heart, a blank heart icon and a classic solid heart symbol, with PNG and SVG options. Check the license on the individual download page before using any image, especially for commercial work.

Pick the kind of heart picture you need
- Decorative heart: A familiar symbol of love works for cards, posters and other designs. The cited options include a red illustration and a classic solid heart.
- Blank heart icon: An unfilled or outline-style shape can be colored, painted over or used as a simple template.
- Anatomical heart: If you mean the organ rather than the symbol, look for an image explicitly labeled anatomical. The decorative examples here should not be mistaken for medical illustrations.

Check the license before using or sharing an image
A “free” label alone does not tell you whether you may reuse an image. Read the license shown for the exact file, including any attribution or other conditions. This matters particularly for business, commercial or public-facing projects.
The cited Wikimedia Commons files Heart symbol red.svg and Heart symbol blank.svg are labeled CC0 1.0. Their pages reproduce the CC0 1.0 Universal Public Domain Dedication statement: “You can copy, modify, distribute and perform the work, even for commercial purposes, all without asking permission.” That license information applies to those individual files, not automatically to other images in search results.

Download or print the picture
- Open the page for the heart image that matches your intended style.
- Review the available formats and license on that page.
- Choose the download format that suits your project, such as PNG for a straightforward placed image or SVG when you need a resizable vector and your software supports it.
